Obietnica
„Wow, diese Familie hat vielleicht Probleme“, war mein erster Gedanke, als Obietnica vorbei war.
Lila und Janek trennten sich vor kurzer Zeit, da Janek Lila betrogen hat. Lila möchte nun nichts mehr von Janek wissen, es sei denn er macht diese eine ungeheuerliche Sache für sie. Als Zuschauer denkt man erst mal, dass es sich hierbei nur um einen blöden Scherz halten kann, doch Janek zieht es tatsächlich durch.
Im Verlaufe des Films wird immer offensichtlicher, wie es zu einer solchen Situation kommen konnte. Die Patchwork-Familie hat große Probleme. Sie reden kaum miteinander, leben aneinander vorbei und vor allem kann keiner sich einem Problem entgegenstellen. Immer wählen sie den einfachen Weg. So sagt die Mutter beispielsweise, als es Schwierigkeiten mit Lila gibt, zu ihrem Ex-Mann: „Wenn das alles vorbei ist, nimmst du sie.“
Schockierend zeigt der Film, wozu Liebe einen verleiten kann. Doch meiner Meinung nach war alles ein bisschen too much. So viele Probleme kann eine Familie gar nicht haben und dass Janek und Lila wirklich so eine Tat verüben würden, halte ich für recht unwahrscheinlich.
Doch die schauspielerische Leistung der beiden Protagonisten war großartig. Unglaublich, wie überzeugend Elliza Rycembel die Rolle der Lila spielt und auch Janeks alias Mateusz Więcławeks schauspielerische Leistung ist herausragend. Es macht Spaß, ihnen zuzugucken. Generell muss ich sagen, dass der Cast ziemlich gut aussieht.
Der Film regt einen dazu an, sich aufzuregen. Über das Verhalten von Lila, über die Dummheit Janeks, dass er alles macht, was Lila ihm sagt und über die Art und Weise, wie die Eltern, bzw. die ganze Familie mit dieser merkwürdigen Situation umgeht. Man merkt so richtig, was man noch alles für Probleme haben könnte.
Mir hat der Film insgesamt sehr gut gefallen und wenn man vergisst, dass manche Sachen vielleicht etwas unrealistisch bzw. einfach zu übertrieben sind, dann ist es ein tolles Filmerlebnis.
„Wow, this family is messed up! “, was the first thought I had after the film had ended.
After the breakup between Janek and Lila Janek tries hard to get Lila back. Since Janek was the one who betrayed her Lila isn’t easily convinced. But she tells him she would forgive him if he would do this one – really stupid – thing for her. First, you think that that’s a complete joke. But it isn’t. Janek honestly does what Lila wants him to do.
In the course of time you realize how all this could happen. Lila has got massive problems in her patchwork-family. They don’t talk to each other about the important things and they incline to not facing their problems. “After we’re through with this, you take Lila”, is the best example for that. I mean, whose mother would say that after her daughter messed up?
I really enjoyed the film. I have to say that it is all a bit too much though. I think it is a bit unrealistic that one family can have so many problems and I don’t think that in real life this would happen.
But the actors are fantastic! Eliza Rycembel plays Lila perfectly well, I was absolutely impressed of how good she could act and Mateusz Więcławeks is also a great actor. In general I have to say that Obietnica has a very good-looking cast.
Just forget about these unrealistic things and you have a perfect movie left. You should definitely go and check this film out. It might upset you because of the stupidity of Janek who simply does everything Lila wants and because of Lila who honestly wants these things to happen and of course because of the parents and their way to handle the situation but you’ll definitely like it.
